Hear from our graduates

I had the chance to work from the Bahrain office, where I focused on tracking COP28 developments, and delved into the world of carbon credits. The programme provided me with an environment that truly reflects the global nature of climate change. Working in such a multicultural and ever-changing setting was instrumental in my journey to address sustainability topics.

I chose to join the graduate programme mainly to experience a diversity of activities and teams working on sustainable topics. This has been a key highlight of the programme, along with the possibility to develop one’s network within and outside the bank and sharing my experience with fellow graduates.

Embarking on this programme has provided me with limitless learning opportunities and a platform to make a real impact in sustainable finance. Following the Sustainability Graduate programme, I joined a business line for Strategic Client Coverage involved in key daily operations and supporting the Team as a reference for sustainability topics.

The programme offers exceptional variety, as I had the opportunity to undertake rotations in two countries and under both private (structuring of sustainability-linked loans and green loans) and public (sustainability research) sides while attending to valuable training sessions. If you want to expand your knowledge and expertise in sustainable finance, the programme is truly an invaluable experience that you shouldn’t miss!
