About Business line/Function :

Develop and maintain IT systems at heart of “Know Your Customer (KYC)” ensuring due diligence, tax and regulatory compliance during the entire CIB client life cycle. Platform responsible for client onboarding, documentation, data distribution, capturing audit trails and being golden source. Application resides in the core model of the CLM IT and provides front to back connectivity within the various client onboarding platforms.

Position Purpose

Required Technical Lead to work for Creation of a Central KYC HUB offering a premium KYC service for Global strategic client: One team / one Process / One tool.

Key principles: Single Team under one management, Single data flow, Single process with client centric approach. Leveraging CIB KYC standard workflows (Onboarding, Recertification etc.) to process whole scope of clients Depending on the client setup (facing CIB or not) usage of KYC CIB standard workflow.


Direct Responsibilities

·        Lead the technical direction and architecture of software solutions.

·        Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·        Lead the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to delivery.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship high quality software solutions.

·        Analyze and troubleshoot issues in existing software systems providing efficient solution.

·        Mentor and guide junior developers fostering a collaborative and knowledge sharing environment.

·        Ensure the implementation of scalable, high-performance and secure solution for business.

·        Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes.


Contributing Responsibilities

·        Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards and drive continuous improvement.

·        Support management with reports to track progress and timely highlight any risk or issues.


Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Must to have

ü  Extensive knowledge of full-stack development and the ability to design, develop and maintain business solutions.

ü  Proficiency in Java with minimum 8 years hands-on experience in design and development

ü  Proficiency in Angular for Web Development

ü  Proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot with minimum 5 years hands-on experience

ü  Hands-on experience with any ORM (Hibernate, JPA, iBATIS etc.) 

ü  Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL with at least 5-year experience

ü  Expertise in Multithreading, Exception Handling, Distributed Architecture, Messaging (MSMQ, Active MQ etc.).

ü  Unit Testing using any framework and ability to produces coverage from source.




Good to have

ü  Experience working with Agile methodology.

ü  Results-oriented, team player and self-motivated with a strong initiative to deliver

ü  Knowledge of DEVOPS and DEVSECOPS and CI/CD pipeline.

ü  Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure etc.)

ü  Knowledge of containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes )
