You will join the Group level Finance second line of defense team (Standards & Controls – Group Financial Controls), made up of 25 people of which 10 in Paris, in charge of animating the permanent control framework related to financial and regulatory reporting. You will be sitting very close to the main Finance teams that we interact with, and close to Risk teams involved in CRR3 project.


You contribute to animating the permanent control framework on the Capital stream within Finance & Strategy, in close collaboration with Risk and first line of defense teams.


You act as leader and supervisor, at Group level, of the permanent control framework on the accounting and financial information related to prudential requirements, including on supervisory reportings – in line with first line of defense, you build the set of control plans that are necessary to get the collection, computation and reporting of prudential ratios under control, – you adapt the set of control plans and the certification process to regulatory requirements (in particular in the context of CRR3 implementation), – you steer the operational insertion of control plans in the relevant departments, – you put in place adequate collaboration between Finance and Risk second lines of defense, in order to ensure the coverage of all control dimensions (methodologies, systems, reporting…), – you facilitate the control of data quality on the stream, through the operational insertion of data quality controls within control plans, – you facilitate the implementation of an IMR (Issue Management & Remediation) framework on the Capital stream, together with first lines of defense and Risk&Finance Data Office, – report on the quality of the control framework to relevant permanent control governance bodies of Finance & Strategy and of the Group, and you participate to the elaboration of synthesis for Financial Risk Controls Committee (Comité de Maîtrise des Risques Financiers) and Board Accounting Committee (Comité des Comptes), – participate to the interactions with supervisors regarding follow-up of remedial actions.

Your main interlocutors are: – Standards & Controls teams within Finance & Strategy, in particular Standards Implementation Office, Group Financial Policies and Risk&Finance Data Office, – Strategic Monitoring & Reporting (SMR) teams dealing with accounting, capital, and regulatory reporting, – the teams responsible for Reporting and Controls within poles and business lines, as well as business lines resource managers, – RISK teams (credit risk, market risk, equity risk, operational risk), – Risk/Finance IT teams, – CRR3 project team.

Besides, you may intervene on other themes, in a more transversal way, so as to reinforce the control framework on newly identified areas of risks, or on new reportings. You also ensure the follow-up of recommendations issued by General Inspection or by the Supervisor and contribute to the preparation of supporting documents for related committees.
