ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

The contributor will ensure
that business processes are carried out in an efficient, controlled, and timely
manner whilst managing risk and minimizing losses. The person will
appropriately and continuously seek to improve the effectiveness whilst
ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This scope of this position
covers the Account Officer Banking Control.

Reporting line: the Account Officer Banking Control reports to the
Head of Banking Control.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all BAU tasks in timely manner and
    according to procedures of Banking Control department
  • Control the day-to-day settlement and RV/RF
    orders activity
  • Perform the analysis of the client add
    value (migration in and out, new request, stock transfer and project
    follow up). To control of the portfolio transfers by client
  • Follow up & support the stock and cash
    reconciliations due to the RV/RF Fund dealing activity, performed by BNP
    Paribas S.A. CIB2S and analyze and solving discrepancies
  • System alerts review
  • Support the review of all the controls done
    for the activity
  • Respond to queries from internal or
    external sources in relation to the activity and ensure every email
    received has been answered
  • Proactively communicate any cases that
    could be subject to escalation. Ensure that escalation flow is being
    respected
  • Maintain relationship with clients,
    colleagues and other teams and promote client focus approach
  • Active participation and implementation of
    new processes and clients’ acquisitions
  • Support the team in achieving common goals
  • Coaching/on the job training of new
    employees
  • Being innovative through various proposals
    of process enhancements and their implementation
  • Review internal controls, systems and
    procedures applied within level 1 and level 2 controls
  • Ensure compliance with Financial
    Transaction Tax procedures. FTT
  • Check List Controls on Orus
