Position
Purpose

The APAC GM
& ALMT IT TP Engineering group runs Trade Processing and Regulatory
Projects both regional and global for Global Market and ALMT business and
operations.

Main
responsibilities for the candidate would be to

·       
Functional expert on Asia region regulatory
reporting requirements including OTC Transactions Reporting to APAC regulators
like ASIC, MAS, HKMA, JFSA

·       
Strong functional knowledge on GM business and
regulatory regime in APAC

·       
Build strong relationship with APAC business
and other support teams including Operations and Finance

·       
Bring expertise on business data and reporting
solutions with a strong focus on delivering strategic solution to increase
efficiency & automation and enhance control thereby reducing risk

·       
Develop a clear vision of the target processes
including innovation / digital as the case may be

An ideal
candidate would come with 5 or above years of experience working in Investment
Banking and regulatory reporting domain as an analyst

Key
Responsibilities

·       
Build a strong delivery
culture and harness strong relationship with business partners and other
technology partners

·       
Functional
expert on the domain, conduct end to end studies and architecture and solution
definition

·       
Act as a subject
matter expert on the domains, perform analysis

·       
Production
support where intervention is required on a functional expertise level.

·       
Perform
end-to-end tests, plan and coordinate UAT, change management and go-live
support.

·       
Able to work in
a matrix environment building a strong relationship with Regional and Central
IT teams and clients

·       
A team player,
who is able to work in a diverse team and comes with an open mindset to learn
and adapt

·       
Contribute on
project governance meetings and issues meeting minutes

·       
Collaborate and
follow up with development teams regionally/globally to establish strategic and
deliverable IT solutions and ensure their timely delivery

·       
Develop good
communication channel and good working relationship with technology teams both
global and those located in the firm’s captive center with ability to influence
the teams to deliver APAC specific requirements

·       
Pre-empt and
escalate any risks/issues to project governance in a timely manner and where
possible provide solution to mitigate challenges

·       
Provide tactical
solution to business in case of tight timelines and collaborate with different
stake holders to provide strategic solution

·       
Provide
trainings to business users and production support teams before the functional
project go-live and prepare support document on the wiki/SharePoint.

·       
Contribute to
the team resource development. Effective transfer and share functional and
technical knowledge amongst the team

Contributing Responsibilities

·       
Contribute to
standardization, upgrade, consolidation of technologies/solutions

·       
Perform analysis
and recommend solution to meet the business requirements

·       
Be cognizant of
multiple facets relating to IT Security, production support, enterprise
architecture roadmap whilst engaging with stakeholders on solution design.

·       
Coordinator and
if required own regional or transversal challenges

Competencies
(Technical / Behavioral)

·       
10-12 years of work experience within the
financial services industry and/or regulatory reporting focus

·       
Strong understanding of
Capital Market deal flow from pricing to booking, risk management and back
office, especially on FICC instruments – FX, Deposits, Rates, Options,
derivatives and others.

·       
Good to have product and processing workflow
knowledge of Investment Banking and Corporate Banking

·       
Experience with integration of technical
projects at a global level preferred

·       
Ability to manage multiple project across
various topics

·       
Experience working with internal and external
technical teams/vendors

·       
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

·       
Ability to manage conflicting requests and set
expectations to both senior management and individual contributors

·       
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
in front-office setting

·       
Some international travel may be required

Qualifications
and Experience

·       
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or
other management field preferred

Specific
Qualifications

·       
Knowledge of APAC banking regulatory
environment a plus

·       
Problem solving attitude

·       
Experience in banking environment and good
understanding on banking IT ecosystems

·       
Good Communication skills in English and
ability to conduct meetings and presentation in client, business and management
facing situations

·       
Strong analytical skills with ability to
clearly specify topics, understand their priority and criticality and
accordingly escalate
