About the job

  • Reporting directly to PIMH (PIMH = Portugal International Markets Hub) Credit Team Leader, the main mission relates to controls defined in the group & activity procedures are being followed. Participation to the permanent improvement of the processes. Work closely with other departments located in Europe (Back Office, IT, Business, Risk) within the Business line Wealth Management (WM) in PIMH

Your Main Activities Are

  • Credit process administration activity
    • Input in the Site’s CBS the client’s credit authorizations, risk indicators and derogations if applicable, listed in the Credit Minutes, setting up the credit facility in the client’s account
    • Input/Update of WM doubtful clients in a WM Finance central system, as per reception of Credit Minutes
  • Lombard financing activity
    • Validation of Swiss WM clients outgoing cash funds – control of consistency between client´s assets and liabilities
    • Monitoring of collateral shortfalls and credit irregulars for Swiss WM clients o Validation of Lombard Term Fixed loans and ensure that all conditions are respected within the credit conditions (existing and valid credit line, adequate pricing, no excess of credit amount)
  • Credit sales support activity
    • Perform a manual analysis of securities (mainly structured products) in order to identify if a financing ratio should be attributed according to the Financing Norms, and then uploaded manually in the systems
  • Reports activity
    • Produce or contribute to the elaboration of several reporting (internal, Head Office or regulatory)

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor degree
  • At least 3 years of Experience in the banking area
  • Fluent in English
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player
  • Reactive and ranking of priorities, sense of risks
  • Client oriented
  • Strong resistance to stress
  • Rigorous and autonomous, eager to learn
