Equity Derivatives and Cross Asset Sales Assistant – Internship (8 months)

The position will be based in Zurich for a duration of 8 months 

You are interested to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment on a trading floor in our CIB Global Markets division. Then join our Global Markets sales team department here at BNP Paribas Switzerland !

 YOUR TEAM

Your team is in charge of developing the commercial effort of the global markets business line of the CIB division of the bank amongst institutional clients in Switzerland.
Your team is based between Zurich and Paris and is composed of 5 people.
The team mandate includes the following products Equity Derivatives (Flow and Structured), Financing and Cross Asset Structured Solutions.
Your position is based in Zurich and you will be directly reporting to a Senior Sales based in Zurich.  

YOUR WORKDAY

As an intern in a fast-paced and hectic environment you will be required to support the Senior Marketers in the team within all aspects of their mandate.
This includes:

  • Assisting the Senior Marketers in their day-to-day activities
  • Taking ownership of client requests by prioritizing them and organizing their resolution in coordination with Senior Marketers, Structuring, Trading and other stakeholders
  • Pricing Derivatives Products across all Asset Classes (Equity, Rates and Credit)
  • Taking responsibility for the full After-Sales follow-up for all primary transactions in coordination with Senior Marketers, Trading, Structuring as well as BO/MO
  • Participating in product initiatives and offerings by preparing and developing marketing materials, emails, term sheets, etc.
  • Maintaining and further developing databases & tools to support Marketers, preparing and analysing statistics and handling other designated projects for the desk
  • Supporting the Head of Institutional Sales Switzerland with business development projects
  • Attending relevant in-house training programs to stay updated on regulatory, product and technical knowledge
  • Collaborating with Global Markets teams in Switzerland and globally

 YOUR PROFILE

  • You are able to claim a first experience on a trading floor amongst one of the following activities (trading, structuring or sales).
  • You have a very strong interest in the area of Finance, Capital Markets and generally in Banking.
  • You are fluent in Swiss German and English.
  • If possible, you justify a degree in one of following field: Finance, Economics or Mathematics.
