Functional Business Consultant ADM- @Amsterdam, F/M/X, 40 hrs p/w

We are looking for a Functional Business Consultant and IT project manager for our It & Business Continuity department, that  is situated within the Securities Services business line of BNP Paribas SA Amsterdam branch

The position you’re applying for/Your new role

The Functional Business Consultant ADM is situated within BP2S Netherlands in Amsterdam and reports directly to the head of IT & Business Continuity BP2S Netherlands. Direct colleagues are Service Delivery managers, and other Functional Business Consultants.

 Your are the driving force for new developments and preparing stable delivery of change to production and will overlook the change process from beginning to end. Main goal is to continuously optimize and professionalize BP2S IT & Business Continuity Netherlands and to contribute to the BP2S IT- and overall strategy. Experience with Simcorp Dimension and Active Batch is a strong advantage.

 

Your responsibilities

·         Manage IT&BC projects to make sure the implementation of projects is done in a successful and controlled manner within the agreed commitment with the sponsor on time, scope, and budget, including collaborative and pro-active stakeholder management;

·         Participate in migration and onboarding projects and enterprise-wide projects

·         Participate in projects, initiatives and analyses to cover the functional overview, needs and challenges

·         Translate desired changes into clear, supported and sustainable solutions and business needs into functional possibilities Create clear and comprehensive project plans, memo’s, advices, analysis and specs and handover documentation

·         Create prototypes in “laboratory mode” that bring an added value for BP2S

·         Prepare delivery of automated batch processes and interfacing to the functionality

·         Support on incident handling to support run teams

·         Train colleagues (change and first line support run teams) and share knowledge of experience and newly build expertise

·         Setup, implement and maintain user and authorization management of Dimension according to latest requirements and policies

·         Deliver support on UAT environmental setups for Business changes

·         Comply with relevant work instructions, processes and (ISAE3402) controls, reviews and update instructions, processes and controls if applicable.

·         Setup and maintain a network within the Global BNP IT organisation

Who are you

  • A Bachelor degree in Finance and/or Information Technology;
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position or in the Investment industry:
  • Minimum 2 years of business consultancy or Project- and/or Change Management experience;
  • Demonstrated experience with Service management processes
  • Accurate knowledge of office suite.

 

Job related competencies:

  • Knowledge investment IT architecture;
  • Advanced Networking skills (Active listening, communication (verbal/ non-verbal), friendly, respectful, humorous)
  • Knowledge about Simcorp Dimension;
  • In depth knowledge of the English language, both verbally and in writing
