About the job
You’ll work closely with our stakeholders (trading and sales teams) to brainstorm ideas to improve the platform, together with our data and product teams. Managing and leading projects (both in iT/Data,and business focused projects) is also part of the day to day.
Your Main Activities Are
• Assist in developing digital platform and BNPP digital tools capabilities across our Commodities franchise
• Help set the communication strategy for the platform
• Work in coordination with the Commodities sales & trading teams in executing the GBLs electronic and digital strategy
• Monitor client activity – prepare various analysis and dashboards using Client data, activity statistics, overall performance across tools
• Work with product managers, sales, and trading teams to increase client activity on the platform and set development plans and delivery
• Develop understanding of industry trends on digital topics to ensure our Commodities business remains cutting edge
• Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework
• Understand and value all business and transaction related risks, including market, credit, operational, compliance, legal, regulatory and reputation risks
• Work closely with our Data Scientists to ensure data quality for both our internal and external partners
Profile and Skills to Success
• 2-4 years of experience in Business, Finance, Science, Maths or similar fields
• Transversal knowledge on financial markets; understanding of commodities market and the products is a plus
• Ability to undertake a number of issues simultaneously and prioritize the workload
• Analytical ability with a digital mindset, competent using data modelling tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Ability to develop and maintain a network of relationships with key stakeholders within the bank
• Team player with entrepreneurial spirit, strong motivation and eagerness to roll up own sleeves and make things happen
• Basic IT knowledge (you will handle a lot of projects IT related, it is valued if you understand how different stacks connect with each other)
• Basic coding skills are a plus (Python, SQL and VBA), Microsoft Office Mandatory
• Fluency in English both oral and written
About the Team
Global Macro eCOO is responsible for organizing and developing digital strategy for Rates, FX and Commodities business. The team is involved on day to day project management as well as data quality improvement.
