Position Purpose

Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the team’s goal.

The main objective and goal of the Transition Manager is to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new clients, and to provide a high level of service to maintain strong client relationships, in a risk-controlled manner and in compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Within PS&F, Prime Transition APAC is responsible for overseeing the setup and project manage new clients onto BNPP

PS&F Platform and ensure product & market setups according to the NAVCO information provided by Sales & enriched by the updates given by clients during the onboarding.

The role requires the candidate to collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders and across regions: regional ‘Client Solutions’ colleagues, FIC, Legal, Credit Dept. (Risk I2S), Legal, End-to-End Onboarding, support functions (Operations, Transversal) and other front office personnel to adequately prioritize our clients.

Responsibilities

Direct & Contributing Responsibilities

·       Project management: a) managing the implementation project from start to finish, including overseeing KYC process, gathering information & documentation, coordinating with the internal stakeholders as aforementioned to ensure all aspects of the client onboarding are handled timely and efficiently. B) Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. C) identify potential risks early and highlight to the team lead to address/ develop mitigation strategy.

·       Plan and execute client transitions, including account & markets setups, documentation, and system configuration/ integration (trade & post trade connectivity) are done seamlessly.

·       Problem solving & Communication: resolving any issues that arise during the implementation process and keeping the stakeholders and client fully abreast on the timeline & status.

·       Efficiency & effectiveness: continuously find areas to improve client experience as measured by TAT/ time to market, quality of setups on the products and markets and client & stake holders feedback.

·       Control & Compliance: Ensure control owned by Prime Transition are implemented and adhere to

·       Active participation in projects / remediation according to APAC Prime Business priorities

·       Prepare metrics and reports on status of client transition & onboarding for MI purpose.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·       At least 5 years previous experience in Prime Brokerage Onboarding / Transition role

·       Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal skill and ability to lead and manage project independently.

·       Independent, resourceful, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and able to deliver within the project timeline.

·       Strong understanding of MS Office suite and its application (Word, Excel, Power Point)

·       Language: English
