- As a
Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a talented team of Engineers that
demonstrate technical competency and deliver mission critical infrastructure
that ensures high level of availability, performance, and security - You
will be working with like-minded professionals who plan, deploy, and maintain
business critical applications, with close contact to many different
stakeholders like, Software developers, Testers, Business Analysts, IT
Infrastructure Operations, Application Owners, IT Security, among others
Your Main
Activities Are
- Be
the referent for the specific area of IT activity - Integrate
and industrialize IT solutions - Qualify
and resolve incidents and contribute to the resolution of problems - Act
as a reference in the function and capitalize on the gathered experience to
share knowledge, train and coach others - Understand
application architecture and its upstream/downstream flows to help implement
resilient & HA solutions - Build
and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate provisioning, configuration and
deployments - Work
on containerization of legacy applications - Manage
the Internet/Intranet Docker clusters, which are orchestrated through k8s - Automate
deployment of applications and associated modules using Ansible/Jenkins - Contribute
towards batch setups and jobs onboarding to AutoSys - Help
achieve file transfer between interfaces using CFT/SFTP - Address
vulnerability and obsolescence topics based on directions coming from
respective teams - Take
care of regular BAU activities, change implementations, problem ticket handling
based on service requests, change requests by respecting ITIL processes - Implementation
of Monitoring, wherever feasible - Participate
to Continuity activities (i.e Disaster recovery) - Documentation
Profile and
Skills to Success
- Bachelor
degree in Information Technology and Computer Science - At
least 7 years of Experience in Information Technology - At
least 3 years of Experience with WebSphere/Tomcat /Apache - At
least 2 years of Experience with Kubernetes/Docker - At
least 1 year of Experience with Ansible and a Cloud provider
(IBM/AWS/Azure/Google) - Knowledge
in IT - Methodologies
DevOps - Linux
/ Unix/ Windows Administration - Proficiency
in Onboarding & troubleshooting applications on Kubernetes - Proficiency
in Scripting language (Python and/or Bash preferred) - Proficiency
in Deployment automation tools (Ansible or equivalent) - Proficiency
in IBM WebSphere v8 or Tomcat v8.5 and Apache v2.4 - Proficiency
in IBM sFTP, CFT or equivalent - Proficiency
in DB Administration (Oracle, MS SQL, Mongo DB) - Fluent
