Direct Responsibilities
  • Maintain active relationship dialogue with his/her level of contact, ensure good knowledge and due diligence on client’s development.
  • Properly share client information and access to coverage team members / credit analysts / sector / product specialists
  • Ensure update on client management tools and timely delivery of call reports
  • Prepare client CVs for senior meetings.
  • GRM role for pilot accounts and liaise with contributors / sector teams on client management and reporting.
  • Procure quality credit proposals & smooth credit process with risks, credit and other coverage teams.
  • Monitor the major risks on clients and transactions and risk/return parameters (Capital, Raroc, liquidity)
  • Procure proper KYC and account opening process and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory authorities, audit requirements and approval limits and conditions.
  • Due preparation and execution of legal documentation for deal execution (with product teams)
  • Handle internal or external referrals/requests and waivers. Team-work with Senior Banker & other teams members and cooperation with product lines and various functions
Contributing Responsibilities
  • Support Senior Banker in originating high-value mandates for strategic clients, esp. on capital market, multi-metier solutions and support the approval & execution process.
  • Contribute to franchise building to expand / penetrate client portfolio and develop prospects.
  • Support SB in achieving team’s revenue targets for IBA and non IBA products.
  • Coordinating deal teams for pitching and execution of business mandate / cross-selling.
  • Formulating the Relationship Plans to maximize client penetration and profitability
  • Managing Group exposure and RWA usage, keep track on Client revenues.
  • Team budget exercise and management reporting
  • Contribution to BNP Paribas permanent control framework.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, in particular with regards to the KYC responsibilities and duties, as per relevant policies and procedures, and the summary of responsibilities list attached hereto.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
  • Bachelor/ Masters degree
  • 6+ years relevant banking experience preferred in covering Hong Kong Large Corporates
  • Knowledge in financial modelling
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
