What is the Global Markets Graduate Program?

GM Graduate Program is a 12-month program in Global Markets designed to boost your professional development.

During the program you will have at least two rotations on desks across asset classes such as EQD, FX, Credit, G10 and DCM.

During rotations you will be supporting the activity of our GM Front Office team with access to the entire process and the wide range of experts.

You will also benefit from an Induction program with other EMEA GM graduates, to develop your knowledge, skills and networking

The position will show you what a job in Capital Markets looks like and the wide range of activities you will see will help you understand the BNP Paribas offering, understand the business and sales process and get to know the main stakeholders of our business. Once a bit of experience is obtained you will be able to get more involved in the sales process.

 

On the job activities:

  • support in all client activities, making sure we can respond to enquiries and maintain high client satisfactions
  • market intelligence and research analysis on market trends and products launched in the market
  • support in the all post trading activity, with interactions in full autonomy with middle office and back office
  • maintain our reporting activities and KPI monitoring for the business
  • marketing material screening and preparation and support to organize events
  • help in the organization of and participate in client conferences and seminars
  • liaise with the Italian marketing team so as to create brochures, marketing materials and videos for new products
  • liaise with our compliance regarding recertification of existing clients, obtaining all necessary documents from clients
  • help in responding to client RFPs (Request for Proposals)
  • actively participate in group discussions and participate in sales and product meetings both in Italy and internationally

What we expect from you

  • A degree from a leading university with an excellent academic record
  • A previous internship or work experience related to Capital Markets is a plus
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Attention to details
  • Strong adaptation skills
  • Great team player
  • Capacity to work under pressure
  • Critical of own work / professional reaction to positive and negative feed-back and use of this feed-back to improve
  • Italian is mandatory
  • Fluency in English
  • Conduct: strong capacity to support and foster a culture of good conduct, demonstrate proactivity, transparency and accountability for identifying and managing conduct risks; consider the implications of his/her actions on colleagues, partners and clients before making decisions, and escalate issues to your manager when unsure; professional conduct in the office environment.
