Your Main
Activities Are

  • Post-Trade Tasks
    • Finalize
      booking of Traded deals in the Sales upstream system
    • Interact
      with all of the internal stakeholders and clients regarding any traded
      deal
    • Interacting
      with Clients and Client Services, regarding any traded deal
  • Pre-Trade Tasks
    • Interacting with Sales and
      sometimes Clients to finalise their on-boarding
    • Preparing in coordination with
      the Sales marketing documents/pitches/emails
    • Performing pre-trade checks to
      greenlight trading a specific product with a specific counterparty
      (Compliance / Credit / etc..)
  • Digitalization /
    Transformation
    • Continuously
      escalading feedback and improvement ideas to increase streamlining of the
      workflow
    • Active
      contribution to the development of the Bank’s tool to enhance pre-trade
      (onboarding, pre-trade checks and limits) as well as post-trade (booking,
      PNL and risk management) processes and systems
    • In
      charge of suggesting and driving digitalisation projects and implementing
      them in the day-to-day

Profile and Skills
to Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Economics
  • Fluency in English both oral and written
    (mandatory)
  • Knowledge in:
    • Financial Markets
    • Office Pack – Excel
    • VBA, Python
  • Skills
    • Attention to detail / rigor
    • Adaptability
    • Analytical Ability

About the Team

  • The Lisbon EQD Institutional Sales Assistant is part of a global sales
    workforce in charge of selling Equity Derivatives Products with a focus on
    Flow products to Institutional clients. Their missions are diverse from
    assisting and supporting onshore sales and MAST in their day-to-day
    activity, to focusing on automation and transformation projects.
  • The team in Lisbon is organised by sales group coverage, for instance
    UK Institutions or Hedge Funds, whose members they deal with on a daily
    basis
