· CIB IT has deployed a new TOM with the following objectives and in alignment to Group initiatives:
o IT Governance simplification:
§ Streamline the governance and reporting framework across: i) Business / IT ii) Entity, CIB ITO, Cluster and Group, iii) External Regulators / Audit
§ Strengthen oversight of IT Performance, Quality and Risk through the consistent adoption of the simplified framework
o IT Management agility:
§ Clearly separate IT animation/strategy committees (e.g. CIB IT ExCo) from regulatory mandated IT governance committees (e.g. CIB IT OPCO)
§ Adoption of ITG v6 procedures, rules and requirements & PMS & GTS KPIs
· With the deployment of the CIB TOM and leveraging the existing organisation managed under 10 IT domains, the IT Strategy & Governance domain has the functional role to define the framework, develop and operate the annual CIB IT strategy management procedure with Entities, Regions and Transversal functions across CIB IT, ITO and liaise with IT Group
· As such CIB IT Strategy & Governance domain is looking for a Project Management Officer to join the team and assist in 1) updating the CIB IT 2025 IT strategy, including IT entities, Regions and Transversal functions, 2) participating for the draft the L3 Procedure(s), 3) Assist IT entities to conform and formulate to the IT Group CSSI* requirements, and 4) Monitor and report progress on CIB IT Strategy and Entities CSSI
Your Main Activities Are
· The primary responsibility of PMOs is to handle the support for project management thereby providing the necessary support for the decision-making process to all stakeholders
· Drive and coordinate CIB IT Strategic Plan and Roadmap in accordance with the overall Group IT and CIB ITO Strategy, and in the context of the business-aligned strategies and objectives of CIB IT Entities, Regions and CIB IT Transversal clusters
· Monitor and where relevant steer the Entity CSSI (Comite strategique des systemes d’informations) topics to ensure alignment and optimisation of transversal IT strategy
· To be familiar at Entity level with key strategic initiatives and programs and their implementation at CIB level
· Play an advisory role (alerts, risks and recommendations) for project, portfolio, program or senior manager
· Guarantee reliable and commented reporting with the necessary alerts and recommendations. Ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations
· Provide decision-making support to all actors involved
Profile and Skills to Success
· Academic background in Management and/or Information Technology
· At least 5 years of experience in Technology and Project Management within the financial industry
· Ability to manage a project – planning and forecasting, task management, meeting facilitation
· Proficient in MS tools (excel, powerpoint, word)
· Attention to detail/rigor
· Communication skills – oral & written
· Fluency in English, written and spoken
