The Instrument Data department is responsible for Equity and Fixed Income products set up in Global Market systems, trade lifecycle update, closing price feed, and Data Quality.
Technical Competencies
- Bachelor or Master Degree on Economics, Mathematics, Finance or any related field.
- Strong Treasury (Rate / Bonds) & Equity derivatives products & operations process knowledge.
- Extensive knowledge in utilizing Bloomberg/Reuters
- MS skills (VBA, Excel, and Access)
Competencies Required:
- At least 3 years working experience in relevant areas (Operations)
- Bachelor or Master Degree on Banking & Finance / Economics / Mathematics
- High familiarity with setting-up/managing the following financial instruments: Fixed Income Securities, Equities, and Derivatives.
- Strong knowledge and understanding with the overall Trade Lifecycle Process (Including but not limited to: Pricing, Reconciliation, & Settlements), Static Data, and Corporate Actions
Direct Responsibilities
- Configuration of Financial Instruments: Fixed Income Securities, Equities, Derivatives, and Static data and life cycle of Instruments.
- Process Daily code changes following Corporate Actions
- Control Market data daily feed (quality and consistency).
- Financial Calendars administration (creation and update)
- Reporting accounting and regulatory participation
Contributing Responsibilities
• Apply control and escalation procedures on breaks between different systems
• Facilitate the integration of new activities and migrations of IT systems
• Ensure the consistency of the Referential between all the sites
• Participate in the industrialization of feed(Static and Market Data)
Work Schedule:
- Must be flexible to work on either APAC or EU Shift (Fixed schedule but must be amenable to work in between shifts as needed by the business.)
