Portfolio Accounting (PA) Officer(M/F)

Your mission:
➢ The PA Officer will be mainly involved in portfolio recordkeeping of complex private debt funds. His main missions are :
1. The Record Keeping of each portfolio transaction into the eFront software, mainly for private debt instruments, equity and intercompany loan assets.
2. The Ownership Verification of Intercompany Loans.
3. Perform all internal controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, reconciliation and proper allocation related to portfolio transactions.
4. Oversight of delegated activities in the context of the applicable operational model
5. Involvement in continuous improvements of current operational processes, in order to reach high automation and overall efficiency of day to day activity.
Key Responsibilities & Expected result area
ü Review and analysis of documents received in relation to any direct or indirect investments
ü Reconciliation of portfolio transactions with cash movements
ü Booking of all portfolio transactions into the eFront software and ensuring mandatory static data is correctly completed
ü Supervision, including control of bank accounts of intermediary holding companies, local SPV and underlying, such as unquoted companies
ü Production of periodical internal controls and reconciliation reports all portfolio related
ü Reconciliation of portfolio positions with external documentation/confirmations
ü Assistance in external audits
ü Make sure that checklists and /or controls are completed on time, exhaustively and double-checked before providing the output to other teams or client.
ü Ensure current procedures are in line with applicable regulations and client LPA/PPM.
ü Collaboration/Coordination with internal and external counterparties (Fund accounting, transfer agent, Loan Admin, Middle Office, client, auditors etc…)
ü Follow-up of the incidents (if any) until full completion of corrective and preventive measures.
ü Help in the production of KPIs.
ü Perform proper escalation (internally or externally) when needed
ü Participate to the review an improvement of team procedures and checklists.
ü Involved in department projects related to overall improvement of operational processes
ü Provide client service & support for BAU and ongoing operational issues.
ü Keep oneself up to date with applicable best practices

Your profile:

Education:
Master’s Degree (>=5 years)
Professional Experience:
At least 2 years as a Fund Controller, Portfolio Administrator in a Management Company or as Auditor.
