The Continuous Improvement Coach/Trainer role is similar to an internal consultant role, and it provides an excellent foundation of knowledge to take on other key roles in our organisation in the future. The role is based in Lisbon, but some overseas travel may be required at times according to business needs.
Your Main Activities Are
As part of the team, the Continuous Improvement Coach/Trainer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Lead training and coaching initiatives using Continuous Improvement Programme approach and tools
- Create trainings, certifications and awareness sessions on Continuous Improvement
- Coach managers in post training follow-up to ensure a complete understanding of Continuous Improvement principles and tools and their concrete application in managing BAU activities (performance & activity management, workload & capacity planning, problem solving, etc.)
- Spread Continuous Improvement culture in the organization
- Coordinate and execute specific aspects of the framework: Reporting, stakeholder management, change management, resolving issues and ensuring high quality of deliverables
- Support beneficiary teams in developing their enabling strategy, by supporting and coaching the ambassadors community, idea generation programs and specific training and certification programs
- Liaise with the community specialist to design and maintain a global Continuous Improvement
- Evolve the toolsets and best practices and contribute to the development of the overall Continuous Improvement program locally and globally
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert about Continuous improvement and support organization as need be
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master’s degree in management, Finance, Economics or Engineering
- Excellent command of English. French is a plus
- At least 6 years of experience in leading enablers initiatives, including learning & development
- Proven experience in Lean methods and tools
- Proven experienced in change management methods and practices
- Facilitation skills
- Robust skills in building and delivering trainings and providing coaching sessions
- Leadership: Capacity to bring together different stakeholders’ visions and have them converge towards the same common target and get their full buy-in
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the business
- Listening skills
- Team player, ability to work cross functionally for the general interest of the organisation
- Sense of priority: capacity to draw the line between important and secondary matters and switch between macroscopic and detailed issues permanently
- Pragmatic
- Previous experience within CIB Operations or exposure to their processes will be a key asset
- Experience in team management is a plus
- Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certification would be a key asset
