The Hispanic Latin America region is a key market for BNP Paribas. While Brazil remains the largest economy in Latin America, other major countries in the region are also significant contributors. Mexico alone has a GDP which represents two thirds of Brazil’s.
BNP Paribas has a historical footprint in the Hispanic Latin America. The Bank has been in the region since 1914 and is now present in 5 countries with nearly 2000 employees between Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and International Financial Services.
CIB in Hispanic Latin America has world-class teams of roughly 200 professionals spread among Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Peru and Argentina, thus ensuring an overall coverage of BNP Paribas’ client franchise in the region. Job Purpose:
The objective of the trainee is to provide adequate/active support to RMs and Head of Coverage. He must also support in managing all administrative and operational aspects related to the monitoring of Coverage’s results and client portfolio. Additionally, he should elaborate market intelligence reports (e.g. company profiles, industry reports, regulatory reports, etc.) to support commercial initiatives focused on increasing fee business pipeline.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Elaborate marketing intelligence reports to support RM’s commercial initiatives which aim at increasing the pipeline of high value mandates (i.e. M&A, PF, GM).
- Support RMs in the preparation of marketing material and respond to the different compliance requirements, upon request.
- Support Junior RM/Coverage Analyst in different administrative and operational aspects related to related to the monitoring of Coverage’s results and client portfolio.
