About the job

Join our global team to turn data into actionable insights for client strategies in global markets. You’ll work closely with the regional hubs to analyze trends, automate processes, and improve decision-making using internal and external data, ultimately supporting the sales organization. This role blends analytics, problem-solving, project management and collaboration to drive growth for our global client franchise.

 

Your Main Activities Are

  • Analyze client data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps for global sales teams
  • Design and track key metrics (KPIs) to measure client segmentation and strategy success
  • Build or improve tools (e.g., dashboards, reports) to simplify workflows and support data-driven decisions
  • Automate repetitive tasks (e.g., data cleaning, reporting) to scale analytics and reduce manual work
  • Partner with regional teams (US, UK, France, Hong Kong) to simplify day-to-day operations and facilitate the implementation of our client strategy
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for developers and present insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Support ad-hoc requests like data extracts, presentations, or process improvements
  • Ensure high-quality client data across systems to enable accurate analysis

 

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Degree in Finance, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Excel, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Power Query and DAX is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills to turn complex data into clear recommendations
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-changing, hybrid environment (Lisbon/Porto office).
  • Fluent English (written and verbal) to collaborate with global teams
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Strong communication skills, to build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners
  • Global Markets or Investment Banking experience is preferred

Part of BNP Paribas’ Global Markets, this team supports client strategy through data analytics, market intelligence, and digital solutions. We work across regions to:

  • Define client segmentation and track performance with KPIs
  • Streamline processes (e.g., broker reviews, governance forums) using data and automation
  • Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to drive global consistency
