About Business line/Function:

Corporate and Institutional Banking or CIB Business line consists of multiple métier’s like Global Markets, Global Banking and Transversal each dealing with a specific set of Banking Business function. Application Production Support or APS is an important vertical of CIB that deals with keeping the CIB businesses up and running in production and various transformational activities across domains.

Position Purpose

Deputy Manager for Global GM DEC UBIX  APS, in Bangalore, The primary purpose is to be accountable for Global DEC UBIX APS scope.

 

Responsibilities

 

Direct Responsibilities

·         Accountable of the Application Production Support teams for multiple Transversal applications across multiple regions APAC, EUR and AMERICAS

·         Act as a single point of contact for Users, Support team and management to expected service level

·         Drive the governances with and manage the expectations of Regional , Operations and Business stakeholders

·         Drive various Automation, Monitoring & Tooling common purpose initiatives across Transversal (TV) APS and other teams within CIB APS

·         Perform Application Stability initiatives & Service Management activities, along with Service Management Team – Incident Management Trends & Review, Problem Management Trends and Reviews, and Change IPC Management Review, Meetings.

·         With the above data, drive IPC (Incident, Problem, and Change) Improvements initiatives across Multiple APS Teams.

·         Work on the Hiring and Recruitment Topics of the APS teams by maintaining a central tracker for the ongoing recruitments.

·         Accountable for Generation and reporting of various Production KPIs, SLs and Dashboards for APS teams

·         Involvement in IT Audits and internal Quality controls for the APS teams

·         Centrally maintain the Training Dashboards, Training needs and skill matrix of the team members of APS teams

·         Accountable for preparing the presentations for all governances and steering committees

·         Accountable for maintenance of Business continuity Plans (BCP), IT continuity plans (ICP) and other continuity related documents

·         Accountable for coordination of the BCP and Disaster recovery exercises for Transversal.
