Position Purpose
The successful hire is responsible for providing technical support and assistance. The role will interact with internal users by phone or in-person to resolve their computer problems related to software and hardware issues to ensure continuous operations.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Responsible for desktop software & hardware support and work with service providers in case of hardware failure.
- To install and test PC peripherals as requested by users according to the bank standard.
- To follow up procurement & delivery of hardware/software required by users.
- To install software/application according to user requirements or application installation procedure, and act as the first line support of software & applications.
- To co-ordinate & liaise with other IT teams for network connection of desktop equipment.
- To provide relocation services on IT desktop equipment.
- To maintain up-to-date hardware inventory.
- To administrate Windows user account.
- To satisfy all administrative requirements of the position.
- To update SAP for procurement & fixed assets control.
- To deploy latest Security Patches
- To support VC and voice recording playback
- To ensure IT compliance of the site to the bank standard.
- Escalates complex problems to higher level within organization.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework.
- Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
- Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
Competencies (Technical / Behavioral)
- Experienced in technical support or helpdesk with customer service.
- Working knowledge on Software and Application issues.
- Experience in ticket analysis and understanding issue trends.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and must be willing to work flexible hours if called upon.
- Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot problems quickly, under time constraints, with interruptions all while resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Must provide an excellent service-oriented attitude and effectively communicate with a diverse user community at all levels of the organization.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field preferred.
