- Since 2015, BNP Paribas Wealth Management has a competence center in Lisbon (PIMH = Portugal International Markets Hub) to manage activities for several locations (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, Monaco)
- The trainee would equally share hisher time across 2 teams: Discretionary Portfolio Management and Investment Risk
- The main mission of the Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) desk in to manage the portfolios of clients whom delegate to the bank the management of their assets. It provides high-end DPM services to wealthy, sophisticated and demanding private clients. The team services clients from different BNP Paribas WM entities (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Monaco, and Germany)
- The mission of the Investment Risk team is to help and contribute to the set-up and development of the investment risk framework of the International Markets Products & Services platform. The IM Products & Services platform is providing high-end expertise, investment services and financial products to wealthy, sophisticated and demanding private clients. It has a wide range of offering and is positioned as a hub for the International Markets sites of Wealth Management
Your Main Activities Are
- To assist and help the DPM and Investment Risk activities with the tasks and controls performed by the teams while keeping a drive for innovation and improvement of the existing framework
- Assist the Investment Risk team with the control investment policies and clients interest
- Launch Investment Risk controls under MiFID II framework
- Update and maintenance of Investment Risk databases and extracts with financial information
- Maintenance of Investment Risk department procedures
- Contribute to the preparation of the Business Monitoring report for DPM International markets
- Support the team with the preparation of DPM marketing documentation related to the DPM activity including performance, risk asset class allocation, among others
- Assist the DPM team with the preparation of the Switzerland Business Monitoring report aimed at DPM management
- Enrich the DPM database with financial information related to Structured Products, sourced in Bloomberg
- Contribute to the activities’ continuous improvement
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent
- Knowledge of financial instruments and investment services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Pack (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Access)
- Knowledge of Power BI, VBA and SQL coding
- Communication skills
- Organisations skills
- Attention to details
- Good analysis capacity, rigor and accuracy, dynamism, flexibility and autonomy
