Graduate Global Markets

 

As a Graduate in Global Markets, you will rotate through different Front Office Teams including Trading, Institutional Sales, Corporate Sales and EQD Sales to gain a broad understanding of our business and develop a range of skills and knowledge. You will also have an opportunity to work hand in hand with senior colleagues on different tasks to gain insight into their daily responsibilities and support business development. What is more, you will work with international teams across Paris, London and beyond.

You will also have a unique opportunity to attend mentorship sessions, industry conferences, seminars, and webinars to stay up to date with the latest trends in the financial markets. 

Requirements:

  • English – min. C1 level
  • Recent graduate (or final-year student) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field
  • Availability – full time (40h per week)
  • Internship, part-time job or project experience within financial markets, trading, or investment banking would be a plus
  • Passion for global markets, macroeconomics and trading
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to work with large datasets
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (other financial software programs will be a big plus)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior colleagues to develop an understanding of risk management principles and practices, including identifying, assessing and mitigating risks in the trading and sales environment
  • Develop and manage relationships with clients, including responding to client inquiries, resolving issues and identifying new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with different departments, including Risk, Compliance, and Operations to gain a deeper understanding of how our business operates
  • Conduct research on financial products and work on data analysis and reporting to support decision-making process
  • Develop an understanding of regulatory requirements, including MiFID II and EMIR, and learn how to apply them in a practical context
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to promote our products and services to clients
