ABOUT THE JOB
OVERVIEW
The mandate of the
Head of the Steering team is to provide full support to the RISK ORM CIB
management by:
1. Managing the Transversal Steering team
which is in charge of ensuring the good understanding and the correct and
timely implementation of the Operational Risk framework, its norms and
procedures within RISK ORM CIB Perimeter. To do so, the team is acting as a
transversal coordinator and facilitator between all the RISK ORM CIB teams,
bringing a strong support to ensure the correct implementation of the framework
and its sustainability.
2. Participating and assisting the Head of the
RISK ORM CIB Transversal Teams in transversal projects and activities impacting
transversally RISK ORM CIB.

of activities and tasks
The head of Steering
team will have to :
A. Support actively
the Head of RISK ORM CIB Transversal Teams in:
- Projects and activities
falling with a transversal focus : management of topics such as ALM
Treasury, Functions, Tax, ECB recommendations, etc…and as well any
document for presentation to RISK management or a regulator. - In the participation of the
meetings and committees for which He/She will have to provide risk
opinions and to make synthesis for the head of the Transversal team for
decision. - In being a driving force for
the continuous improvement of the organization.
B. Manage the
Transversal Steering team and ensure:
- The good organisation and the
active contribution of the teams of the objectives. - The quality and rigour on the
follow up of the informations communicated to the RISK management. - The timely submission on all
the RISK . anagement’s requests. - The proactive and regular
delivery to RISK ORM CIB management of progress status on the correct and
timely implementation of norms & procedures within RISK ORM CIB teams. - The qualitative communication
and exchanges with all teh RISK ORM CIB teams. - No significant deviation in
the practices applied by the different RISK ORM CIB teams. - The consistent support to the
RISK ORM CIB teams in the BAU work/practice. - Alert, as soon as possible
teh RISK ORM CIB management of any difficulty, delay or deviation in the
implementation of the framework that could be raised or noticed among the
RISK ORM CIB teams.
All these points
apply in relations with the job descriptions of the members of the RISK ORM CIB
– Transversal Steering:
• Communication of
news norms and procedures to teh RISK ORM CIB teams.
• Follow up /
monitoring on the implemantation of norms & procedures by the RISK ORM CIB
teams
• Coordination of
RISK ORM CIB teams to ensure that their questions/concerns are taken into
account and answered so that they can pursue their activities in good
conditions
• Coordination of
functions
• Organisation of
CIB ICC
• Coordination of
exercises such as Cross check accounting, RISK ID, annual OR&C report, etc…
• Follow up on the
on the publishing of different KPIs (on 2nd level controls, PIs, incidents,
action plans, etc…)
• Follow up on
systems and their access rights
• Support on ad hoc
questions/requests/reporting(internal or regulators)
Preferred:
• Previous
experience in a RISK team
• French language
• Fluent english
