Main
Job Purpose

The
Reward, Data and Controls Business Partner is responsible for managing all
aspects of compensation, benefits, analysis of HR data and execution of HR
controls for BNP Paribas Human Resources in the Channel Islands. The holder of
the position will partner closely with territory management, business units and
staff, as well as develop effective working relationships with central reward,
data and controls teams in Head Office in Paris.

Key
Responsibilities

Payroll Execution and Analysis

·         
Manage
the monthly end-to-end payroll for Jersey and Guernsey using GrassRoots /
PeopleSoft and HSBC Net, ensuring compliant and timely treatment for income tax
and social security purposes

·         
Ensure the
management accounting of the monthly payroll, providing the relevant staff cost
data to the internal Finance team

·         
Review,
reconcile and sign off all sensitive accounts, using Group-approved tools and
liaising with Finance as applicable

·         
Ensure
monthly post-payroll benefit reporting to the insurance broker / benefits
administrator

·         
Produce
ad-hoc reporting for territory management as required

Benefits

·         
Manage
the flexible benefits platform (HRIS) and the working relationship with the
provider

·         
Lead,
in conjunction with the insurance broker and benefit providers, the annual
benefit renewal process for all Insured benefits, including analysis of loss
ratio and negotiation of rates and terms

·         
Manage the
DB and DC pension schemes ensuring good governance in conjunction with pensions
trustees

·         
Produce
ad-hoc reporting for territory management as required

Headcount and Budgets

·         
Create
and maintain the annual staff cost budget, HR budget and headcount budget
(Including interim forecast adjustments), liaising with Finance and Head Office
as required

·         
Perform
monthly headcount reconciliation

·         
Manage monthly
accruals for temporary staff

Benchmarking

·         
Lead
the annual remuneration survey process in liaison with the external provider

·         
Analyse
results and summarise findings for territory management

·         
Propose
adjustments / developments where necessary

Controls and Reporting

·         
Ensure
the investigation, analysis and delivery of accurate and timely MI and KPIs for
territory management, including for formal ManCos

·         
Complete
all in-scope Head Office and local regulatory reporting

·         
Manage
the collation of in-scope data requested in internal and external audits

·         
Monitor
all expatriate expenses, including recharges and foreign social security, and
liaise with the appointed tax advisor for the completion of individual income
tax returns and the annual global assessment return

·         
Monitor
all risks and perform the necessary controls relating to the HR function in
accordance with the required internal frequency (monthly, quarterly, …)

·         
Lead
the annual employee engagement survey process; complete a detailed analysis of
the results for territory management; work with key management stakeholders to
execute identified improvement initiatives

·         
Ensure
timely reporting for the Channel Islands, including (but not limited to)
prudential reporting, quarterly account certification and Compliance staff
validations, annual average earnings survey and ETI return, …

Compensation Review Process (CRP)

·         
Own and
manage the full end-to-end CRP campaign for salary reviews and bonuses,
requiring the application of complex formulae to ensure budget and proposals
are benchmarked, accurate and in accordance with Head Office pools

·         
Ensure
the use of Group tools and respect of tight deadlines throughout the process

·         
Complete
and submit all post-CRP controls

Other Responsibilities

·         
Contribute
to reward-related HR initiatives and projects to accompany business strategy

·         
Coordinate
and manage procurement for any new in-scope suppliers and advisors

·         
Ensure
existing third-party SLAs are relevant and kept up-to-date; implement any new
in-scope SLAs as required

·         
Review
in-scope invoices and complete and submit internal purchase orders to ensure
timely settlement

·         
Ensure
that GDPR requirements and strict confidentiality are respected at all times

Technical Skills
