(Junior) Fund Accountant in Reporting Team

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in financial operations for Specialist Position; or preferably up to 1 of year experience for Junior Position 
  • University degree in Finance, Economics or similar; we are open for graduates or students with ability to work full time for Junior Position
  • Understanding of bookkeeping principles and fund accounting;
  • Great  communication skills. Knowledge of English at minimum B2 level
  • Strong organizational with ability to work with deadlines 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details;
  • Accountability and client focused mindset;
  • Proficient command of MS Office (proficient knowledge of Excel);
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters will be an advantage;

Responsibilities: 

As a member of  Fund Accounting Reporting Team, you will be responsible for delivering Net Asset Value related reporting requirements, in particular:

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly trustee / control packs for open ended funds;
  • Investigating queries from internal and external parties, providing justification or backups supporting accounting records;
  • Calculating and reviewing effective yields on bonds held in portfolio as well as fee accruals;
  • Reconciling cash balances between Fund Accounting records and Custody in order to recognize, investigate and justify any discrepancies;
  • Actively participating in cross-trainings, calls and meetings with the team and internal parties – for Specialist Position
