The Latin America region is a key market for BNP Paribas. While Brazil remains the largest economy in Latin America, other major countries in the region are significant contributors for the business and for long standing relations with clients. For example, BNP Paribas has been uninterruptedly present in Colombia for more than 40 years.

 

BNP Paribas has a historical footprint in Colombia, Mexico, Perú and Argentina (Hispanic Latin America). The Bank has been in the region since 1914 and has nearly 3900 employees between Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and International Financial Services.

 

CIB in Hispanic Latin America has world-class teams of roughly 400, thus ensuring an overall coverage of BNP Paribas’ client franchise in the region. Job Purpose

The Marketing Specialist position will be part of BNP Paribas Asset Management’s Americas Marketing team. This team handles above-the-line and below-the-line marketing across all channels and is responsible for content creation, campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, events, sponsorships and roadshows.

 

This role will be expected to execute high impact regional marketing projects to reinforce BNPP AM as a leading sustainable asset manager and drive business growth.  We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to partner with the teams to spur commercial flows and demand for our firm’s investment offerings. This includes collaborating with various functions globally to amplify our marketing impact by educating and engaging with prospects and clients.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and localize quality-marketing assets (including presentations, brochures, flyers, videos, webpages and electronic direct mailers) across offline and digital channels to promote our investment capabilities, focused funds and thought-leadership.
  • Craft story angles and produce content in innovative formats to engage our target audiences. Facilitate the review of marketing material to ensure compliance with local regulations. 
  • Manage email-marketing campaigns in our email marketing tool, Stoneshot. This includes creating templates, invites and distributing emails on behalf of the LATAM sales team. Also includes pulling monthly reports to track the status of campaigns and providing the data to Sales to show opens and clicks as well as top performing themes and information to help Sales cross sell. 
  • Organize in-person and virtual events/ webinars; liaise with speakers to deliver content for sponsorship activities; promote BNPP AM’s value proposition, brand and investment offerings, while reinforcing the firm’s market presence.
  • Partner with the digital marketing team to launch global digital projects locally, and to improve client engagement, experience and outreach via online channels. Manage various websites in LATAM, optimize marketing automation and boost lead nurturing.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing activites, and deploy solutions to enhance their effectiveness in meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support regional initiatives for Chile, Columbia, Peru, and Mexico, including running organic social media campaigns to grow brand and increase awareness 
  • Assist with market research and work on special marketing related projects as required

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2-4 years relevant marketing experience
  • Advanced writing skills in English and Spanish
