Position Purpose

IT HUB Bangalore by BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is designed to provide centralized IT services to CIB businesses globally, with a focus on innovation, agility, and efficiency. The scope is worldwide with teams located in main regions (Asia, India, Europe, Americas) and it covers the production maintenance of the platforms as well.
You will be part of a dynamic team of IT professionals and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and projects.

About the role: We are looking for skilled and motivated individuals to join our newly created team in Bangaluru and be part of the Global CAAS & Middleware Production team within CIB IT PRODUCTION. CAAS & middleware team is in charge of building and running all CIB middleware, kubernets and openstack assets worldwide in a follow the sun mode. Asset management and licence management are key in this new governance model to control the compliance and optimize the TCO of the department. Particularly, around 10 000 IBM assets are deployed globally in CAAS department. To align IBM Product licence usage with IBM product licence acquirement, ILMT tool is used. The role of the ILMT expert will be • to operate this tool to guarantee the production of the report compliance to IBM. In this mission, his responsibility will be to patch / upgrade central servers in charge of producing compliance reports. To be sure that ILMT agents deployed in all servers are working and sending the appropriate information to the central servers • to share the compliance reports with the expert to define optimization plans to keep IBM licence footprint under controlled • to supervise the action plan with the experts The ILMT expert will be based in Bangalore, he will work closely with MQ and WebContainer experts based in AMER, EMEA, India and APAC. When this mission will be done, he will have the opportunity to work on other expertises and/or transversal topics inside CAAS team/ 5 to 10 years of experience in production environment are required; Upskilles are possible.
