About the job
- The Operational Risk Project Manager will lead and contribute to projects and initiatives seeking to reinforce Global Banking Front-to-Operations permanent control framework, liaising with multiple relevant stakeholders within Global Banking (Front Office, IT, Operations, OPC) as well as with Group Control functions, to ensure coordination and alignment of program approach and priorities
- The Operational Risk Project Manager will serve as the PMO for the Operational Risk Transformation stream within the Global Banking industrialization program, which is a transformative initiative that is key to the Bank’s vision for its future control framework
- The Operational Risk Project Manager will have the opportunity to work directly on strategic Global Banking operational risk management topics (AI use cases, regulatory excellence or anticipation, digital industrialization), with visibility to senior Global Banking Management
Your Main Activities Are
- Design controls coming from Group Functions, requiring deep dives into operational processes of the Bank
- Develop local control plans into CIB’s control monitoring tool
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of ORMF tooling strategy for CIB (control reporting, control monitoring, interface with other systems)
- Contribute to key Global Banking governance instances, while interacting with senior managers and stakeholders in the organization
- Lead ad hoc projects and initiatives on behalf of the Heaf of Operational Risk Framework & Conduct on all the components of Global Banking Front-to-Operations permanent control framework
Profile and Skills to Success
- At least 5 years of experience in Operational Risk, Permanent Control or Risk Analysis in Corporate Banking, Inspection Générale, Consultancy or Group Control functions
- Expertise in Project Management
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Expertise in slide production and storytelling, with the ability to visually represent ideas by simplifying complex matters while conveying key project goals
- Ability to understand, explain and support change and to anticipate business and strategic developments
- Ability to generate people’s commitment through collaboration and effective communication
