About the job

The Financial Control Team Manager manages the production of advanced financial analysis to enhance the business performance and ensure accuracy and data quality in all financial deliverables to several stakeholders.

 

Your Main Activities Are

  • Participate in projects requiring financial analysis expertise
  • Coordinate the production of the quarterly invoicing to internal clients
  • Manage the forecasting and budgeting process via animation of the process, ensuring accuracy and data quality in all calculations and allocation of expenses and performing analysis and presentations
  • Ensure data quality and in time delivery of monthly and quarterly expenses reports
  • Moderate the interaction between the team and the different clients/stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement search and actively support the implementation of new tools/processes to reinforce efficiency
  • Coordinate the onboarding of the new joiners
  • Reinforce teamwork/team spirit
  • Actively contribute to develop the skills of the team members

 

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or Economy  
  •  Fluency in English mandatory (speaking and writing) 
  •  Strong knowledge in Computer Science (as user), namely Excel and powerpoint (mandatory)  
  • Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in Audit or in a Management Control or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role  
  • Strong analysis capacity, Rigor and accuracy, dynamism, autonomy, organization and responsibility 
  • Capacity to work under pressure and commitment with deadlines 
  • Strong interpersonal working relationships and team leader 
  • Able to adapt to a fast pace and multi-cultural environment 
  • Experience in transformation project and implementation of tool

 

About the Team

Our mission is to cover all aspects related to accounting, performance management, tax and invoicing in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring – among several other aspects – that BNP Paribas’ ­financial statements are in compliance with the Portuguese legislation, and providing support for management decisions. Besides the local business of the branch, we provide a dedicated support to all the hosted services, namely in what concerns tax and tax invoicing.
