Position Purpose

This PMO will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support within the APAC CIB CIO team. This role involves regular reporting, budget preparation, and analysis, as well as supporting various finance activities across different métiers and geographies. This PMO will work closely with domain heads, the Finance team, and senior management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  1. Financial Analysis & Reporting:
    • Perform monthly cost reviews by analyzing gaps between actuals and budget.
    • Analyze Man days report for invalid charge codes and gaps between actuals and budget in the PPM tool.
    • Review and maintain allocation keys and methodologies including communicating with APAC Finance and downstream teams. 
    • Support domain heads, Finance team, and Management with cost views.
    • Conduct BAU analysis of Actuals (headcount and costs) 
  2. Budget Preparation & Analysis:
    • Follow up with domain heads for budget preparation.
    • Analyze future headcount trajectory, costs (software, consultants), capitalization, and depreciation in comparison to previous years.
    • Clarity Update (backup responsibilities) 
  3. Contract Management:
    • Accountable for the full contract management process and liaise with relevant downstream parties (Procurement, etc.).
    • Validate invoices with contracts and budget for payments.
    • Coordinate payments via Kofax and invoicing hub teams.
    • Support the accrual process and submit timely and accurate accruals based on contracts 
  4. Onboarding /Offboarding and renewal Consultants
    • Accountable for the full onboarding, offboarding and renewal of consultants once the PM sends the required documentation. 
    • Involves liasing with facilities team and relevant downstream teams to apply/revoke or renew access (email and systems)

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with contract management processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with Clarity or other PPM tool
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
