Direct Responsibilities

As Head of CIB, Securities Services Operations Philippines, you will be in charge of the department global supervision and risk monitoring aligned with different regions & platforms (consists of 120+ FTE’s approx)

  • Ensure that the business processes and operating models are adequately designed, orchestrated and harmonized across regions.
  • Act as a ISPL point of contact for 2S ISPL in terms of Service Delivery and financials (FTE cost, monthly billings etc.).
  • Ensure close collaboration and alignment with APAC, specifically Australia, New Zealand stakeholders & strong governance with Head APAC 2S Client delivery and his / her office 
  • Ensure adherence, alignment and consistency of ops models between ISPL, BSPB and legacy locations.
  • Foster collaboration, alignment and communication across ISPL & BSPB 
  • Deliver to agreed KPI & KRI as defined in the SLA’s , monitor the performance via KPIs and KRIs of all departments.
  • Participating/Leading the monthly governance meeting between BSPB, 2S ISPL and beneficiary locations
  • To manage and ensure all requirements needed for delivering the BAU by understanding   the client deliverables.
  • Manage and co-ordinate for all recruitment related in any new incoming processes and for any attrition within the department.
  • Manage any internal audits within the department.
  • Adherence to control framework for the department. 
  • Manage Global stake holders including Locations and Project teams. 
  • Create a culture of ownership and accountability within the department by exhibiting the lead by example behavior. 
  • Thorough knowledge on Securities Markets and managing operations.
  • Should be pro-active and flexible to set as an lead by example. 
  • Promote continuous improvement within your scope, serving our clients, and act as sponsor to ensure the implementation of transformation projects that improve the quality of the service provided.

Contributing Responsibilities

 

  • Anticipate risks, identify issues, design, and implement remediation actions.
  • Ensure the Control framework is properly implemented for Securities Services activities, promoting awareness and following implementation and sign-off of RCSAs and controls reviews by the team managers.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements impacting processes are implemented where needed.
  • Ensure the implementation of a Business Continuity Plan 
  • Oversee the recruitment, appraisal, and CRP of Team
  • Ensure the management of daily activity of the team (feedback, animation, alert for potential issues) and presences.
  • Adherence to the global Target Operating Model
  • Ensure that progress against objectives for all reporting staff is reviewed on a regular basis
  • Monitor the performance of individuals as compared to defined responsibilities and address performance issues as they arise
  • Contribute to the development of individuals within the teams, through coaching, internal mobility
  • Bring solutions to new business initiatives for development.
  • Comply with internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Comply with the BNPP standards of Code of Conduct
  • Comply with the BNPP IT Security policies.
