Within CIB ITO Production organization, Production Factories domain provides platforms to build digital services around DevSecOps, Automation & Observability and Global Support Services. These services include providing DevSecOps pipeline toolchain, Observability, Scheduling, Discovery services and data protection services as well as Command Centre and Crisis management. This includes the design, the support and project deliveries of the platforms as well as on-boarding new customers.
As BI Developer you will be part of a feature team defining and building solutions to create, integrate and improve the data visualization services providing dashboards and reports to various areas within ITO Production.
The role is primarily focused on development around Data, but the nature of the tools requires a variety of development skills.
Senior BI Developer
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development and deployment of BI solutions.
- Integrate with the developed solutions to the BNP Paribas CIB ecosystem including referential, marketplace and DevSecOps Toolchain.
- Contribute to the prioritization for the development work amongst other Developers in the team.
- Support users by providing technical assistance.
- Provide support to other Developers in the team.
- Help identify inefficiencies in processes and contribute to their improvement.
- Collaborate with the team to develop company best practice for data transformation and visualization.
Requirements:
- Over 4 years of commercial experience in similar position.
- Strong experience in data visualization products (preferably Power BI).
- Strong experience in development of ETL pipelines.
- Good experience in Python.
- Experience of working with common CI/CD tools for example Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory.
- Strong skills in SQL development on main DB technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres.
- As nice to have knowledge in terms of tools and tech such as Dataiku, Autosys, API and Cloud solutions.
- Good architecture and design thinking skills.
- Great interpersonal skills with team player mindset.
- High on problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
