About the job

  • The Traded Risk Capital Data Analyst supports the production of the regulatory capital figures for counterparty risk (both advanced and standard approaches).  Working closely with the Capital Production task force, you will help translate raw data into clear insights and assist in communicating the results to Business Lines, Group Finance and senior management

Your Main Activities Are

  • Production: support the task force that calculates and validates regulatory capital figures for counterparty risk, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and alignment with Business Lines and Finance expectations
  • Analysis and Explain: prepare capital explain analyses that detail the drivers of past capital variations
  • Reporting and communication: assist in delivering high quality reports and present the key findings to Business Lines, Risk Management, Group Finance, Rating agencies, regulators, and auditors
  • Stress testing: assist in the production and validation of stressed RWA numbers that feed into the Group’s risk appetite statements
  • Framework improvement: contribute to enhancements to the capital framework (automation, IT fixes, methodology updates)
  • Documentation: keep the team’s operational procedures, methodological documents and control plans up to date

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Post‑graduate or Master’s degree in Finance / Mathematics / Engineering or related
  • Up to 2 years of experience in Risk and Controls / Data Analytics or similar
  • Proficiency in Python and advanced MS Excel
  • Excellent English, both written and oral
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid analytical ability
  • Ability to collaborate / teamwork
  • Proactive
