(Senior) Data Analyst for Fund Administration

In this role you will be a part of the global Fund Administration team.

Scope of duties on this position creates perfect condition for getting familiar and perform objectivities from scopes of: Data Analyst and Geographic Management with opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders on global scale.

 
 

Requirements:

 

  • At least 3 years of experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques, strong use of statistical packages, strong knowledge of SQL or Excel, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools
  • Ability to manage all types of data.
  • Analytical and critical thinking with attention to details attitude.
  • Fluent English – knowledge of French will be an asset. 
  • University degree (Economy, banking, finance, data).
  • Proven track record of work in securities services industry operations and project management will be an asset.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. Great flexibility and capacity to adjust strategy to integrate new internal and external factors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to co-operate with different departments and locations. 
  • Self-motivation, willingness to learn.

 

Responsibilities: 
 

Data Analysis

  • Supporting the development of global reporting methodology across key performance metrics, e.g., headcount, volumes, productivity, client KPIs. 
  • Creating and maintaining visualizations from multiple data sources concerning Headcount or Key Performance Indicators to support management in decision making.
  • Developing and maintaining databases and data models by acquiring data from various sources to make company data evaluation process more transparent or scalable. 
  • Designing metrics aiming to monitor the evolution of unit costs across all teams ensuring that productivity improves with each release of unit costs. 
  • Continually evolving reporting framework to ensure relevance and alignment with business environment 

 

Geographic Management support:

  • Supporting the Definition of transfer approach with parties involved. Identifies necessary means for the transfer.
  • Formalizing transfer roadmap and planning.
  • Coordinating the work related to transfer of activity (hiring, training, process adjustments, tool evolutions, access rights). Coordinating the obtention of required validations (e.g., transformation committee)
  • Supporting the Global BCM, Global Transformation whenever data analyse expertise is required
