About the job

  • Global Markets GenAI applications are a mix of a traditional system development paired with new technologies such as Large Language Models and high-power Graphic Processing Units – LLM  GPU 
  • This role will build traditional IT applications that leverage Generative AI Services
  • The developer’s mission is to contribute to the functional and application related consistency of the IT solution and ensure the service continuity and continuous development. The Developer must perform activities within the framework of projects and/or application maintenance and development seeking it’s continuous development and assuring it’s compliance with Quality and Security guidelines and best practices
  • This is a developer role but includes a large amount of coordination, communicating and adapting to dynamic circumstances. The successful candidate will have superior initiative and drive to adapt to challenges faces each day – technical and organizational.

Your Main Activities Are

  • To work as a developer in the Generative AI team which is split between London and Portugal
  • Participate in an agile based software development lifecycle including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, code reviews and working with infrastructure teams as needed
  • Supporting the Generative AI platform service and ensuring its availability and continuous improvement to new language models and techniques and use cases
  • Proactively manage all issues the team faces – technical, functional or organisational

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Techical Certification (CET)                   
  • Advanced level of English, both written and oral
  • Understanding of design and architecture principles, common data structures and algorithms complexity
  • Ability to work as a part of a globally distributed team
  • Knowledge in
    • Python programming
    • Backend development
    • JS/TS, HRML, CSS with experience in React/Angular/VUE or other frameworks
    • Django/FastAPI
    • Development and delivery of modern WebUI stack using modern development practices ang high level of processes automation
    • Kubernetes and Docker
    • Cloud technologies
    • Relational DB/SQL skills
    • AI/ML model integration and fine-tuning
