Position Purpose

Key support to the UK Brand & Communications team.
Video support for all requirements supporting the UK Territory, Events and Marketing & Communications teams.

 

Responsibilities

 

Direct Responsibilities

  • Report to and work with the Manager on day-to-day operations of the video vertical.
  • Manage and oversee video pre-production planning and on-site production activities for video projects when needed.
  • Oversee and lead members of the video team on projects encouraging collaboration and to bring out the best in the designers.
  • Build a productive and working relationship with other teams within the business locally.
  • Anticipate and respond to needs and requests from primary UK Brand & Communications clients.
  • Identify best practices for video production and evolve daily operations as necessary
  • Collaborate with other designers in the team and contribute to our creative process by sharing your ideas and experience.
  • Deliver high quality product ensuring all projects are on schedule following the group guidelines.

 

 

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Nurture and supervise junior designers and help them grow.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest trends and industry developments and tools for video production.
  • Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained.

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • High level of competency with the following:
    Adobe – Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Ability to operate studio equipment and post production will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of industry experience in a video & graphic production environment in a respected brand, organisation or studio.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills with exposure to Sr. Management.
  • Strong attention to detail and someone who has ingrained the habit of reviewing their own work as part of the quality control process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people including Sr. Management.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing client needs
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute creative video concepts that align with the company’s brand and marketing goals.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as required.
