The “Automation” Domain is part of the Corporate & Institutional Banking Information Technology & Operations (CIB ITO) of BNP PARIBAS, it manages all automation and scheduling platforms.

Within this domain, the support to process automation linked to BNPP private cloud has a relevant role in our IT infrastructure.

Position Purpose

This position is focused on the support to incorporate automation on BNP’s private cloud.

 

The process automation offers its service to the products available in BNPP cloud workspace with thousands of virtual servers linked to them. The candidate selected must contribute to preserve the required performance for a very demanding service with critical services offered from it.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Direct Responsibilities

Part of the time is oriented to design and supervise CI / CD processes, to make application deployments, to perform code review mainly in Python, to create systems and applications monitoring, mainly based on microservices architecture and to attend users & resolve incidents.
 
Contributing Responsibilities

The rest of the time is focus to program new features and functionalities according to the needs of the customers and the business, to correct code and validate the applied solution and to make deployments of new versions in production.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Essential:

·     Knowledge and experience on Ansible Automation: 

o   Capacity to debug/dev Ansible Playbook

o   Capacity to debug/dev python code

o   Knowledge to administrate Ansible Tower product and its component tools

o   Redis 

o   Nginx

o   Kibana

o   PostgreSQL

o   SCM (git)

o   Bitbucket 

o   LDAP

 

·     Skills in support and debug on RHEL (6,7,8) 

·     Skills in support and debug Docker/Containers

·     Skills in support and debug Kubernetes

·     GIT repository management

·     CI/CD tools (Jenkins) skills

·     Experience of delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines.

 

Desirable:

·     Knowledge on the following Ansible Automation related tools:

o   Monitoring (Dynatrace/Prometheus)

o   Openshift

o   Confluence

o   Jira

 

·     Skills on Ubuntu (16.04, 18.04,20.04)

·     Artifactory skills

·     AVI (Load balancer service) skills
