About the job

  • The Settlement Team Leader mission is to ensure the pre and post settlement activities, clearing, custody, maintain relevant legal documentation, transaction and event-related accounting for securities deemed in scope, while managing the team’s activity

Your Main Activities Are

  • Participating in the daily production activities of the team
  • Managing the team in terms of business hours permanence, holidays, target days, supervise the team learning continuity and training programs and coaching day to day activity, through activity monitoring indicators and support in production priorities
  • Act as first point of escalation
  • Organize cross training and skill matrix update
  • Process controls and validations
  • Keep procedures up-to-date
  • Participate in operational risk management (ensuring team’s self-sustainability, updating controls when needed)
  • Maintain continuous improvement and process efficiency in a cost control mindset

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor in Economics, Finance and Accounting
  • At least 3 years of Experience in Banking and Financial Operations
  • Proficiency in MS Office Pack Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge in Risk Management – Risk knowledge & awareness
  • Availability to work from [14h to 15h] to [23h to 00h]
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to collaborate/Teamwork
  • Attention to detail/rigor
  • Client focused
  • Communication skills – oral & written
  • Ability to develop others & improve their skills
