Xelerate is a vendor-based product used for cash management and correspondent banking domain for Core deposit lines interest calculation and billing invoice generation for Cash Management domain for Middle East Africa <MEA> and Europe. Position Purpose
- We are looking for highly Skilled Techno-Functional Billing specialist with experience in Banking Domain, Preferably from Tier 2 banks.
- Candidate should have strong blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge in billing system, with a focus on enhancing efficiency.
- Provide a brief Develop robust, scalable, and reliable and optimized technical solutions using Unix, UNIX shell scripting and Oracle database, Python.
- Re-engineer solutions for legacy applications using latest tools and technology.
- Work as a solution provider in improving customer experience using technology.
- Identify and automate redundant tasks in day to day activities using DevOps.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Good experience in designing and development of applications.
- Responsible for Developments and L3 support activities for a vendor based application which is used for Interest calculations of Corporate Deposits and Billing for International cash management and correspondent banking for Corporate Banking-Cash management domain
- Responsible for Test environments build, End of Day testing and monitoring, job scheduling and Monitoring and alerting of inbound and outbound EOD jobs
- Study user requirement, develop specifications, design, and implement systems in line with Group standards and regulatory requirements IN ORDER TO meet user (business) requirements.
- Handle development of projects using Unix Shell scripting, Oracle, WebSphere, python
- Further enhance, Trouble-shoot, understand & resolve problems related to existing systems IN ORDER TO meet user requirements and ensure smooth functioning of IT systems.
- Ensure to follow best coding practices, and provides functional and technical help.
- Should be a quick learner.
- Should be able to work in Shifts (09:30 am IST to 6:00 PM IST and 12:30 PM IST to 9:00 PM IST) to support application in EMEA region if required.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Banking domain Experience is highly advantageous.
- Experience in UNIX shell scripting. Oracle Sql
- Experience in python or Perl scripting
- Web application development experience.
