About the job

• The position is a Senior Functional Business Analyst role within RISK Market & Financial Institutions (“RISK MFI”)
• RISK MFI provides the Senior Management of the Group, of the RISK Function and of Corporate & Institutional Banking (“CIB”) with full transparency and dynamic analysis and monitoring of market, counterparty, liquidity risks originated and managed by CIB GM and of credit risks on Financial Institutions to assist them in their risk decision making and monitoring
• The Senior Business Analyst missions are related to analysing data and processes to understand the current workflows and specify changes, to design and document functional architecture improvements, to validate the deployment of solutions, while collaborating with IT related teams and users across the various phases of functional improvements. The senior functional business analyst regularly reports about the progress of the projects she/he handles
• The topics covered are about market, counterparty, valuation, or credit risk management for financial institutions. In practice, the projects can touch about the handling of limits and excesses, the improvement of risk nomenclatures, the simplification of risk reportings, the automation of risk metrics computation or risk methodology calibration, the implementation of controls about the risk metrics data quality, the review of the timeliness of a risk metric production, the understanding of the risk manager usage of a given metric,…
• We are looking for a profile with proven business analysis experience, who can rapidly understand new market or counterparty risk concepts, provide statistical analysis about a certain scope, formulating their proposals in an easy-to-read format and who has an appetite to propose GenAI solutions to functional practices
• The role requires agility to regularly onboard oneself onto new projects to support the main priorities or monitoring conducted by other team members
• The candidate needs to be comfortable working within an Agile framework and very regularly iterating improvements in their deliveries
Your Main Activities Are

• Participate to building and executing the product roadmap in an iterative fashion
• Work closely with the squad responsible for the product and with their clients to improve and deploy solutions
• Continuously develop a critical opinion about the workflows adopted to maximise efficiency and client satisfaction on the short, medium, and long run
• Regularly present proposals and their implementation to clients
• Identify bottlenecks and dependencies and deploy inventive strategies to alleviate them with the sponsors of the projects
• Lead small projects to improve the efficiency and reliability of the team processes.
• Maintain simple documents about the workflows and the roles & responsibilities that can easily be handed over to other team members
• Value and integrate client’s feedback to improve products, services, and processes. Aims at increasing client satisfaction and anticipating their needs
Profile and Skills to Success

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Logistics, or equivalent
• Understanding of Market, Counterparty and Credit Risk disciplines
• Relevant experience bridging gaps between clients, do-ers and IT teams
• Ability to gather, prioritize and integrate large amounts of information, to process and simplify it
• Analytical Ability
• Ability to identify and generate ideas inspired by experiences of operational or strategic, practical, or innovative solution
• Ability to manage time, to plan, structure, prioritise and coordinate activities and resources effectively to reach objectives
• Able to identify solutions to overcome obstacles and drive results to conclusion working autonomously and implementing work processes, ideas, and solutions with tenacity
• Effectively deliver complex oral and written messages in a clear, structured, accurate and concise manner, based on facts
• Proficiency in software project delivery / Agile@Scale methodologies (e.g SAFe)
• Knowledge of Python and PowerBI
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
